R&D/Innovation

GMV operates two laboratories in its Tres Cantos facilities in Madrid [Spain]; one specializes in Logical Security while the other specializes in e-Solutions. The laboratories' activities include:

• Development of projects and solutions
  
  
• Analysis and R&D of new technologies
  
  
• Study of the new technologies and products of technological partners
  
  
• Installation of product and technology demos
  
  
• Development of quality testing
  

GMV dedicates a great part of its activity to designing technologically innovative and beneficial solutions. Thanks to this continuous effort, GMV is able to meet its clients’ immediate needs with the most advanced technologies.

The laboratory has:

• A dedicated LAN network, equipped with Sun, Linux and Windows server platforms, running our technological partners’ operational scale models.
  
  
• Client units for tests and demonstrations. The infrastructure includes Web servers, LDAP servers, mail servers, firewall systems, auditing tools, etc.
  
  
• Independent development platforms for Sun, Linux and Windows. These platforms have the developmental environments and the APIs used by our different technological partners.
  
  
• A test bench for cryptographic hardware.
